Tone it out. Brassy to Sassy. Keracolor’s Color + Clenditioner Platinum can be used as a cooling toner to yellow and golden tones in your hair. A hair toner can help correct and personalize hair color. This product helps banish unwanted brassy and yellow/golden undertones in the hair and to maintain your desired hair color.
  1. Start with wet or dry hair.
  2. Section hair and apply the product generously. You can use a wide-tooth comb for even distribution.
  3. Leave on for 3–20 minutes, depending on the color saturation intensity you desire.
  4. Rinse. Style as usual.
Important Notes:
For maximum intensity, do multiple applications until desired color is achieved. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. For more vibrant tones of color - bleached or highlighted hair to start is recommended. To maintain achieved tone, alternate with Clenditioner. Our Color + Clenditioners contain semi-permanent direct dye pigments and will gradually fade out from hair. Color results and longevity of hair color is dependent on the condition and porosity of the hair, and the intensity of the shade.

***If you are going to make a drastic color change, consult with a salon professional.

How long will my hair color stay? How do I get the color out of my hair?

Our Color + Clenditioners contain semi-permanent direct dye pigments and will gradually fade out from hair. The amount of time the product will last in hair is dependent on the condition and porosity of the hair, and the intensity of the shade. Lighter colors tend to fade out faster, like Light Pink, Rose Gold and Mint. The more stubborn shades are the Blues, Espresso, Onyx, Purples, and Teals which tend to stay in hair the longest. If your hair is damaged and very processed, you may see a much longer fade out process. For the more stubborn shades, a direct dye remover may be needed. Any time you are doing a drastic color change, it’s best to consult with a salon professional.

Is it damaging to my hair?

Our Color + Clenditioner is not damaging to your hair, but quite the opposite - it is actually good and kind to your hair. It replenishes your hair with our kind ingredients including our signature Keratin, combined with nourishing and rejuvenating coconut oil, shea butter, rose hip oil, jojoba oil & almond oil that will leave your hair healthier and shinier with each use.

Does the product stain?

Depending on your color choice some dyes have a higher concentration than others. We recommend using gloves, dark or old towels, as well as washing the product off surfaces right away for protection from any stains.

Easy and I love the scent!

I have used two of the Pastel Clenditioners over the past 6 months or so. I love the product and have a few tips and tricks that might help. But first... some background on my hair and what I put it through.

For about a year (from October 2020 to December 2021), I bleached my hair several times to achieve fun, bold, and vibrant looks. I figured, if I was working from home - why not have some fun with color. Unfortunately, during my second to last hair salon visit, my scalp took some serious damage from the bleach. I allowed my roots to grow out, but couldn't help but go back to the salon one more time. We did a brunette (my natural color) to a rose gold.

I first came across the KeraColor Clenditioner while Ulta was holding a sale. I was curious if it would help maintain my rose gold color. If I could span out my salon visits, it would be better for my wallet and I had nothing to lose. While using it as directed, it did help but as soon as the permanent dye began to fade, the clenditioner was struggling. So, I switched up the method after reading some other reviews online.

I recommend using the product as a mask over dry hair three time over the span of six to eight days. Put it up in a shower cap and forget about it. I left if on for 90+ minutes while having a relaxing bath once. Then reduce to once a week or so (depending on how deep you want the color). I would also suggest switching to a non-foaming or sulfate free shampoo.

I have recently switched from the rose gold to silver. I have just finished the third round and I love the color. I am happy with the product and will contine to expirement with their colors. I am thinking emerald next...

As I mentioned, there is just something so pleasant about the scent. Even my husband compliments the smell after every use.

Silver Blue is perfect!

My stylist recommended this to me. I was letting a blue/purple/green fade out of my naturally silver hair, and roots were showing a lot. I tried this and it's like magic! I have a pastel silvery blue color all over, looks wonderful on this not young person. I may keep this, or go with the pastel green, or use the silver to gradually get my hair to it's original color. I love this product!

**Update: not cheaper, just smaller

UPDATE: November 2021: So I got all excited because I received a notification that the price had been dropped--significantly. Yay! So I bought another bottle. I received it and laughed. It's significantly cheaper because it's significantly smaller. That's no savings!!Rose Gold : I must put out the caution that if your complexion is in the Italian or Asian range--this color will make your face look sallow. Rose Gold would be amazing on blonde hair and a fair/rosey complexion. This product deposits color gradually. Don't expect a dramatic saturation of color. That's not what this is, so don't expect that. The color it deposits lasts through several washings. So, would be good to augment fading dyes from "permanent" and semi-permanent colorings. Or, to add a little alternate color highlight in there. Just be careful. Know your colors!I use it on grey and white hair, in strips, for a little fun flair. I like to have a little pastel color in there. I often use the purple, rose gold and blue. Because this is a gradual coloring, the colors softly blend. When I want no color, I just stop using it. I'm interested to try the silvery color w purple and blue...!I've not used it on wet hair, just dry. I have noticed that the color won't "take" nearest to the root (i.e. the part where your hair has natural oil, even only 1 day). So, not great for "root touch ups", and best on clean hair without very much "product" in it, like gels, sprays, etc. Also, for more color take, leave it in for 20 minutes or so. For that scary first try--leave it in for 5 to 10 minutes. Everyone's hair has differences of porousness.Fun to use! Doesn't damage hair! You can use gloves, especially for use with the darker colors like purple, but honestly--if you're getting in the shower, it'll wash off! Protect your sink and walls though!
